    DISRUPTIONS IN ~OKEANOS SERVICE

    Dear ~okeanos users,

    From Tuesday, November 5, at 15:00 EET we have observed an issue that causes disruptions in the use of the Cyclades service. The creation of new VMs, as well as the management of the existing ones (start, stop, reboot, destroy, resize), through the Cyclades Web UI and API are affected.

    SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE/UPGRADE OPERATION

    Hello ~okeanos users,

    We'd like to inform you about scheduled maintenance/upgrade on ~okeanos service between 9:00 EET and 11:00 EET on Tuesday, October 30.

    Your VMs and Pithos+ files should remain unaffected. The upgrade is expected to cause minor disruptions to the ~okeanos service. Astakos, Cyclades and Pithos+ Web UIs and their APIs will be unavailable for a short time during the upgrade.

    No loss of connectivity is expected for the VMs.

    SCHEDULED NETWORK UPGRADE

    UPDATE: All works completed successfully

    Hello ~okeanos users,

    Due to upgrade works on our network infrastructure, the ~okeanos service will be disrupted between 10:00 EEST and 12:00 EEST on Wednesday, September 5.

    During the upgrade, all running archipelago VMs will be temporarily shut down and automatically restarted afterwards. Your standard storage (drbd) VMs and your Pithos+ files should remain unaffected. The Cyclades and Pithos+ Web UI and APIs will also be inaccessible in the above timeframe.

    Keep in mind that you should restart any running services that won't start automatically after a reboot.
