1000 ACTIVE VMS IN ~OKEANOS
Hooray! Starting today, ~okeanos counts one thousand VMs. We are excited to announce that we just surpassed the milestone of 1000 active VMs.
We woulld like to thank all our alpha users for their valuable feedback so far.
We're working hard on scaling up the infrastructure, so we can keep up with demand.

DISK SIZE INCREASED TO 40GB !
Hello ~okeanos alpha users,
We are happy to announce that we are increasing the maximum disk size to 40GB for everyone, starting today!
From now on, you will find a new disk size option of "40GB" on the second step of the "New Machine" wizard. This option will be available for all your new Virtual Machines. This means more space to host more applications, and more content.
Enjoy and use wisely :)

EXPECTED NUMBER OF ALPHA2 USERS REACHED
Wow! So many people, so soon.
Thank you for your overwhelming interest in Alpha2. We 're excited to have completed the planned number of users in such short amount of time, and have to suspend the registration of new users temporarily.
We will be back shortly, with a new round of user sign-ups.

~OKEANOS ENTERS ALPHA2 TESTING PHASE
We are happy to announce that ~okeanos enters its alpha2 testing phase today!
After a successful alpha1 phase, we are now accepting new users via sign up, to test the platform and report feedback. Starting today, ~okeanos includes cyclades (Compute/Network) and pithos+ (Storage). With cyclades you can create and manage your virtual machines and virtual networks. With pithos+ you have 50GB of online storage space, to save all your favorite content. With the pithos+ client you can sync that content from your private PC, or even your cyclades virtual machines.
